Comprehensive Adolescent Severity Inventory (CASI): Administration, Coding, and Clinical Application

This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Comprehensive Adolescent Severity Inventory (CASI), including its purpose, structure, and clinical application.

Participants will learn how to administer the CASI using standardized interviewing techniques, apply appropriate probes, accurately code client responses, and utilize Interviewer Severity Ratings (ISR).

A strong emphasis is placed on the clinical significance of the information collected and how CASI data inform diagnostic impressions, treatment planning, and level of care recommendations, including alignment with the ASAM Criteria Six Dimensions.
