FAQ
Individuals and organizations may purchase one or more individual subscriptions. One subscription is required for each person.
Please see the Purchase tab for additional information.
The subscription length supports knowledge and skill development over time. After all, learning is a process—not an event.
Users are expected to complete the course within the first 30 days, the remaining time allows learners to return to the course content as needed. This reinforces knowledge acquisition and supports the transfer and maintenance of learning in the workplace.
During the subscription period, learners may continue to access course content, practice quizzes, exercises, and learning measures to evaluate knowledge retention. These results reinforce learning gains and help identify areas that may require additional review or improvement.
To successfully complete a course, all users must complete:
- The User Survey
- All course modules (in the order presented)
- All Pre- and Post-Course Learning Measures
- The Course Evaluation
The TreatmentBasics Learning Management System (TB-LMS) tracks all user activity. The system records:
- Date, time, and duration of access
- Which modules were accessed, and for how long
- Which slides and videos were viewed, and for how long
- All Pre- and Post-Learning Measure scores
Users who do not successfully complete all course requirements are not eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion or Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Each course requires approximately 18 hours to complete.
- Approximately 15 hours are dedicated to course content (lecture, video, and exercises).
- Approximately 3 hours are dedicated to Pre- and Post-Course Learning Measures.
The e-Courses are more comprehensive and effective than standard one- or two-day onsite workshops. They provide more detailed content, expanded practice opportunities, performance feedback, and downloadable support materials than is typically possible in traditional workshop formats.
The courses on the ASI and the ASAM Criteria are approved for up to 20 CEUs by the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).
- Completion of the User Survey, course content, learning measures, and evaluation earns 18 CEUs.
- Completion and submission of the Learning Contract (discussed in Module 2.0 and located in the module’s Resource Folder) earns an additional 2 CEUs, for a total of 20 CEUs.
Each module Resource Folder contains supplemental materials such as:
- Information sheets
- Articles
- Book references
- Supporting tools and templates
All materials are downloadable for future reference and use.
